Try it now — the fingertip map

The fingers are one of the body's oldest maps. In classical acupuncture, six meridians begin or end at the fingertips — and each line touches more than the body it runs through. Esogetic Colorpuncture reads the right hand's fingertips a second way too, in its own finger-testing method. Select a finger to see both readings.

Thumb — Lung meridian

Body
The Lung meridian — breath, the skin, and the rhythm of taking in and releasing. It runs from beside the shoulder down the inner arm to the corner of the thumbnail.
Soul
In the classical model the lungs hold grief — the felt weight of what has not yet been let go.
Spirit
Inspiration in its oldest sense: the capacity to receive the new. Work here speaks to beginnings.

On the right hand, Esogetic finger testing also reads this finger as:

Psychological
The manual places disturbed inner perception here, showing up as ongoing reactions carried forward from childhood.
Symbolic
Symbol: Jupiter — happiness, abundance, wisdom. The teaching ties this finger to completing puberty in three stages, roughly age 16, 18, and 24–25.

Index finger — Large Intestine meridian

Body
The Large Intestine meridian — elimination and release. It begins at the index fingertip and travels up the back of the arm, over the shoulder, to a point beside the nose.
Soul
Holding on and letting go — the old tension between control and release.
Spirit
Making space: what is finally released leaves room for what is arriving.

On the right hand, Esogetic finger testing also reads this finger as:

Psychological
The manual reads this as the felt sense of “right now” — working through emotional material stored earlier, often sensed as pressure along the spine.
Symbolic
Symbol: Saturn — limitation, hesitation. Here, the teaching says, unresolved conditioning is neither fully understood nor released.

Middle finger — Pericardium meridian

Body
The Pericardium meridian — circulation, and the heart’s shelter. It runs from the chest down the middle of the inner arm to the middle fingertip.
Soul
Intimacy and boundaries — how close the world is allowed to come.
Spirit
The protected centre learning when it is safe to open.

On the right hand, Esogetic finger testing also reads this finger as:

Psychological
The manual places everything felt in the present moment here — a difficulty letting the past go, going back over what has already happened.
Symbolic
Symbol: Uranus — revolution, change, transformation. A strong pattern here reads, in the teaching, as being stuck in the present, unable to move forward in time.

Ring finger — Triple Warmer meridian

Body
The Triple Warmer — regulation of warmth and fluid across the three body cavities. From the ring fingertip up the arm and neck, around the ear to the outer brow.
Soul
The mediator — balance between the inner life and the outer demand.
Spirit
Harmony among the three centres — the classical picture that comes closest to the body–soul–spirit triad at the heart of Esogetics.

On the right hand, Esogetic finger testing also reads this finger as:

Psychological
The manual gathers feelings and emotions from the past here, with disturbances it places between the head and the pelvis.
Symbolic
Symbol: Neptune — deception, illusion, dissolution, sacrifice. The teaching describes a particularly demanding challenge to a person’s own path at this point.

Little finger — Heart & Small Intestine meridians

Body
Two meridians share the smallest finger: the Heart arrives on its inner edge from the armpit down the inner arm; the Small Intestine departs its outer edge, over the shoulder blade to the ear.
Soul
Joy, and discernment — the sorting of what nourishes from what does not.
Spirit
In the classical model the heart houses the shen — the spirit itself. The smallest finger carries the centre.

On the right hand, Esogetic finger testing also reads this finger as:

Psychological
The manual describes a sense of being caught by what came before — an accumulation of unresolved conflict.
Symbolic
Symbol: Pluto — collective force and power, and the question of holding on or finally letting go.
Where this leads in Esogetic Colorpuncture: the trained method is finger testing — the psychological and symbolic notes above are excerpted from Basic Training Colorpuncture, Part 1, "The Vertical Test Points On The Fingertips." In practice, testing reads fine differences in sensitivity at these zones to guide assessment and treatment choice; that skill, and the left-hand fields not shown here, are taught in the Professional Practitioner Certification. You can try the noticing itself in the free Practice Studio.

Body, soul and spirit

What sets Esogetic Colorpuncture apart is that it refuses to stop at the body. In this system, coloured light on the skin is a way of speaking to the whole person — and every treatment is understood on three levels at once:

These three levels are the Esogetic model's own frame, described here so a newcomer can orient — the platform describes the system, it does not evaluate its claims. Read more in The Esogetic Approach, or see how the certification training teaches each layer in turn.
